Relationship Counselling & Couples Therapy:

We offer Relationships Counselling and Couples Therapy on relationship issues, Domestic and family prevention, communication and conflict resolution, using different types of evidenced based therapeutic skills as appropriate to meet each individual couple’s need.

Mental Health:

Mood disorders – Depression, Postnatal depression, Adjustment issues, Anxiety and Phobia, Bipolar disorders, Personality disorders, Life crises and general mental health issues.

Trauma/Harm:

Acute Stress Disorder (ASD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Trauma/ Complex Trauma, Family Violence, Psychological First Aid, Self-harm, Suicide, Victim of crime, Refugees and Asylum seekers.

General:

Relaxation Strategies

Skills Training:

Stress management, Problem solving, Anger management, Parenting skills and social Skills.

Psycho- education:

e.g. Motivational Interviewing

Workplace:

Workplace stress, Workplace bullying, Workplace coaching

Consulting:   Clinical Supervision, Mentoring, Change management, Report Writing, Presentation, Workshop.

Women/Parenting:

Provision of therapeutic counselling and support for women with postnatal depression and their spouses, adjustment difficulties, attachment and bonding concerns, adjustment to diagnosis (e.g. child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Fees

The fee is $110 per session. Sessions are scheduled for one hour and consist of a 50 minutes appointment and 10 minutes I set aside to maintain my notes. Please note that the AASW recommended fee is $228 an hour. In my opinion this might be out of reach for many people who require assistance hence my rates reflect this.

Clients who attend with a mental health care plan will received a Medicare rebate of $74.80 and can expect a $35.20 out of pocket expense. Clients may be eligible to receive a rebate through their private health fund.

Those clients who are on a pension or are low income earners can be bulk billed or have their fee reduced.
